LIVING LIGHT

Dear Angelic Blog Buddies:

I am certain many of you have lived your lives focused on experiencing yourself as God's light and living your life with a consciousness of being a blessing of light. You may have been inspired by beautiful gospel songs' lyrics such as "This little light of mine; I'm gonna let it shine." You have dedicated yourself and devoted time, energy and money to learning more about how to be attuned to God's light.

Perhaps on your spiritual path you learned healing techniques where you experience yourself being a conduit of God's healing light, radiant energies, such as Reiki or Munay-Ki. Just as Archangel Raphael, God's archangel of healing, you are a messenger of God's healing light energies.

You may incorporate light decrees and light calls into your prayers and meditations; and may be familiar with beautiful light invocations such as The Great Invocation of Light.

Recently I read a transcription of a lecture given by Dr. Pillai of Mindset University. Dr. Pillai is inspiring us to identity with being God particles. He even does a beautiful chant of the words: Higgs Boson, a name given to the God particle.

Years ago I studied with Consuela Newton, guardian of Integrated Awareness. Connie Newton taught her students a beautiful affirmation: I am the light; the light of the divine is within me; the light of the divine supports me and protects me; I am one with the light of the divine.

I have always loved her affirmation because it reminds me of God's support and protection and my desire to stay aligned with God's light; to be in oneness with God.

In my service with the angels, the angels have inspired me to recognize the formula for identity transformation.

They gave to me this message: You are first the doer. You then become the doing. Finally, you are transformed into the deed. You are the doer; you are the doing; you are the deed.

So let's use the example light with the formula for identity transformation. We first aspire to be someone who is attuned to God's light. We make a decision that we are going to be individuals that are all about light in our lives. Light is what we do. We are doers of light.

Secondly, we make choices to attend classes; read books; watch dvds, make changes in our lives that enhance the light; that enlighten us, etc. All of these are all ways that we practice or experience the "doing" of light.

And then something occurs by the grace of God. We become that which we first decided to aspire to; that which we devoted ourselves to actively pursuing; we become the deed. We become light. We are ourselves the identity of living light.

The "becoming light" occurs as a gradation experience. And often times we aren't aware of the level of light that we are.

I would like to share some things that might be occurring in your life that are reflections that you are walking, talking, breathing, living light.

Have you ever parked on a remote part of a shopping center parking lot and when you park your car there is no one around you, but when you come back to your car there are cars that are on every side of your car? These cars had to go out of their way to park near you. It makes me think of the Carpenters' song lyrics: they want to be close to you.

Chuck and I were on Assateague Beach all by ourselves. There's 14 miles of wide open beach. No one was there but the two of us until a car pulls up and parks right next to us. What a hoot.

We attended a firemen's carnival one evening just a little before the 11 PM closing time. There's hardly anyone at the carnival. We decided to sit down and play a game where you have a water gun and aim at a target. There was no one around but the two of us and the person running the game. Just before the game starts, people come from everywhere to fill up every single seat of the game. We still are laughing about that incident.

Have you ever been shopping and you look at something that interests you, and then all of a sudden a person comes out of nowhere and wants to look at it, too? If they could get inside your skin, they would. They are that close to you.

Don't be sad if you decide to wait on buying something, and when you come back, it is gone. Your touching it makes it attractive to others. It doesn't mean you have to buy things in fear they won't be there when you return. Just know there is more than supply and demand going on when you are shopping.

Have you been driving your car, going your normal route, only to realize that you missed a turnoff and you are driving a totally unique route. Don't think it's mental fog setting in. You just did a light run. Your car is a light mobile and often times we are prompted on an inner level to make route changes in order to help the angels.

You can be in a movie theater that has an abundance of seats to choose from, and people will sit near you. If only they would share their popcorn.

When you go to your car, do you sometimes find that the person and passengers in the car next to you arrive at the exact time you do and you have to wait for their passengers to get inside the car before you can open your driver side door? On some level, there is a light blessing exchange taking place.

When you are pushing a grocery cart down an aisle in a supermarket, do you sometimes find that the aisle you are in becomes the most popular aisle in the store? Attention Shoppers: Living Light in Aisle 3.

It's not about us and our human persona or being an individual; it's all about embodying the divine identity of living life as a walking, talking, breathing blessing of God's light.

Just as Domino's, and Papa John's and others deliver pizza, we deliver light. It shows up when we do.

And because of this, it is important that we take good care of ourselves. We are living our lives as lighthouses on the move. So it's important to keep our light shining bright because it's guiding others even when we not conscious of the service of our own light.

Angelic Blessings of Light,
Jayne

LOOK WHAT GOD GAVE ME

Dear Angelic Blog Buddies:

I recently was listening to the words of Brad Paisley's latest song: Water. The lyrics convey the message of getting a map and going to where it is blue on the map. Go to water. Whether you are experiencing the water of oceans, waterfalls, lakes, ponds, hot springs, swimming pools, showers, or bathtubs, water offers healing to our spirits.

Water is so important to all of us. Every living thing needs water. If we are able to offer something as simple as a clay saucer filled with water on the ground in our gardens or backyards for the birds and other creatures, it is an abundant blessing.

Someone recently sent me an email which included a prayer by Dr. Masaru Emoto (researcher/scientist and author about the chacteristics and power of water) for the Gulf Coast tragedy:

I send the energy of love and gratitude to the water and all the living creatures in the Gulf of Mexico and its surroundings.
To the whales, dolphins, pelians, fish, shellfish, plankton, coral, algae, and all living creatures.
I am sorry.
Please forgive me.
Thank you.
I love you.

For the first half of 2010 I have been called upon to serve as minister for a number of funerals for dear friends who have lost spouses suddenly and friends who have died suddenly. In addition to this, my dear little 19 year-old Jack Russell Terrier, Benny, died and there is a huge void in our home and my heart. I have also felt my heart saddened by the cruelty being done to animals. In Baltimore there have been horrific incidents of cruelty done to animals by children. It's beyond my comprehension. All of this has been compounded by seeing the images of the oil spill's impact on the creatures of the Gulf coast. Sometimes life is emotionally overwhelming.

I am sharing this because it brought me to a point in my conversations with God where I asked for help in reconnecting with my own personal joy. I prayed for guidance as to what to do to heal myself.

I asked God: Should I see a therapist? Who should I ask for help?

The answer that I received was this: Talk to "little Jaynie".

I was inspired to ask Little Jaynie for a memory that would start the process of weaving joy back into my life pattern. I asked for an early JOY memory.

The memory I was given was when I was a child and I first experienced the ocean. I was raised on a farm. My parents were dairy farmers and so the cows were milked every morning and evening. Because of this, my parents did not take overnight vacations. Our vacation experience had to be contained in the hours between morning and evening milkings.

One summer day my parents took my sister, Joyce, and I to the ocean for the day. I remember when I first experienced the ocean and stood before it, I thought to myself "How could they have kept this from me?" It made me wonder what other good things they were keeping from me.

I think in some way it stirred within my consciousness a knowingness that everything that life offered was not contained or to be found in Upperco, Maryland. You have perhaps heard the lyrics: How are you going to keep them down on the farm, after they've see Paris. Well, my life was changed by the seeing the ocean. It was love at first sight.

The power of the energy of the ocean made me feel an energy inside of me like I had never felt before in my young life. This would be the beginning of a love affair with water.

While in my teens, the government offered a program to farmers where they could build ponds for free on their land. All the farmers in our area took advantage of this program, including my dad. As a result, we had a one acre pond on the farm which I adored. In the summertime, I spent every free moment in the pond. I love being immersed in water; being near water.

Little Jaynie reminded me of the healing power of the ocean and that first experience with the ocean as a little girl. And so I talked to my husband, Chuck, about my need to go to the ocean and in March we headed out for Rehobeth Beach. We got our beach chairs out of the car and walked down to the beach and sat right in front of the ocean. Instaneously the healing began. The smell healed us. The air healed us. The power of the ocean healed us. The beauty healed us. The majesty healed us. The fact that we were away from traffic and life's yamma yamma healed us.

A week or so later we took another trip to Rehobeth for the day. On this particular day, we sat on the beach until the wind on the beach became pretty harsh. I suggested to Chuck that we get in our car and drive south to Ocean City. While driving the car, Chuck had the inspiration for us to go to Assateague Island.

I remember going to Assateague Island years ago and loving it, and the thought that we might be close enough to do that delighted Little Jaynie. Chuck said Assateague was just south of Ocean City and so we pointed the Jeep towards Assateague.

When we arrived at Assateague and walked out onto the beach, we both were overwhelmed with the naturalness of the island. The pristine beach, the dunes, and of course the wonderful ocean. Even though on that particular day we only spent an hour at Assateague, we made the decision that Assateague was the place we wanted to come for future ocean visits.

Over the past three months we have visited Assateague six times and every time we go there something magical occurs to the point that we truly believe we are entering another dimension when we arrive at the beach.

On our second visit, I realized that neither Chuck or I are young puppies any more and carrying everything down to the beach was a real task. I prayed for inspiration and God responded with the God-thought of obtaining an Oversand Vehicle Permit for our jeep. We did that immediately. I am happy to say that we now drive our Jeep right onto the beach. We park the car and open the back hatch and have immediate access of whatever we need for our day of healing with the ocean without the lugging energy that we experienced before.

I have felt such a gratefulness to God for this healing for both Chuck and myself. The ocean experiences have truly been beneficial in Chuck's health improving. He just went to the heart doctor yesterday and got a fantastic report of abundant heart health.

I decided I wanted to do something as an acknowledgment of my gratefulness, so I became a "foster" parent to an Assateague Pony. The foal I adopted was in fact born on Be An Angel Day in 2009 - August 22, 2009. And you can imagine my delight (and Little Jaynie's delight) when I discovered that the foal had been named: JOY.

I found my JOY at Assateague with God's help and Little Jaynie's.

This past week we took one of our healing day trips to Assateague. We arrive pretty early in the morning and set up our beach chairs for a day of communing with the ocean. After our usual set-up, I took a little walk down the beach. And all of a sudden a wave offered up onto the beach - placing it right on the sand in front of me - the most perfect, whole seashell. It was as if the wave was the hand of God and was placing this shell in front of me on the sand. It's one the large shells that you hold to your ear and hear the ocean. I picked it up and starting running down the beach to Chuck shouting with joy: Look what God gave me! Look what God gave me!

Chuck and I both were amazed with the perfectness of the shell. We have only seen broken pieces of seashells on the beach before. I didn't look for anymore shells that day. Chuck and I both had the knowingness that this was the God blessing of the day and we were in total gratefulness for it. We even had the shell on a beach chair as if it was guest of honor for the day.

My joy exclamation: Look what God gave me, has become my daily mantra. I am taking time to truly look at, appreciate, be grateful for all that God gives me. At the end of the day I encourage you to look back over the day at what God gave you.

One more magical ocean moment I want to share occurred on Chuck's birthday. We went to Assateague on June 10th for Chuck's birthday. Chuck has some minor joint problems and so walking can be challenging at times; not all the time - just some times. Because we are frequent visitors now to Assateague we have seen the ponies just about everywhere except walking along the ocean. I commented to Chuck that I hoped some day we would see the ponies standing next to the ocean as I have seen in photographs and postcards. For me it would be the magical ponies next to the magical ocean.

Well, there we are sitting in our beach chairs in front of the ocean and four ponies walk right down the beach in front of us - just as if Chuck was the Birthday Grand Marshall in a parade viewing stand and they were marching on by. Look what God just gave us! Happy Birthday, Chuck - love, God.

Abundant blessings of Joy to each and every one of you,
Love Jayne aka Little Jaynie

IF ONLY YOU KNEW HOW MUCH I SMELL YOU

Dear Angelic Blog Buddies:

Some years ago I bought a book that is one of my favorites to this day. It is entitled: "If only you knew how much I smell you. True portraits of dogs."

I bought it because the title is a hoot and the dog on the cover looks just like my Jack Russell Terrier Jackie, who is now in heaven. The photographs are by Valerie Shaff and the text is by Roy Blount, Jr. Inside the book, Roy puts into words the thoughts of dogs, one of which is: "What does that mean "expensive shoe"? I ate it because it smelled like you. Next time you come home to find that your dog destroyed one of your favorite shoes, just remember that your dog loves you and your smell. So when you are not around, the next best thing is something that smells like you.

I am delighted to share that just recently while browsing a bookstore I came across another book by this dynamic duo entitled "I am puppy, hear me yap - The ages of dog."

The reason I am starting my blog with this sharing is because dogs really understand smelling and sniffing. We are all familiar with dogs that are trained to help police because they can sniff out drugs; and dogs that are trained to help the armed forces because they can sniff out bombs.

Native American wisdom conveys that animals are our teachers. By their example, animals teach us to use the gifts that God has given us. Dogs have a keen sense of smell and they use it. I read recently where a scientist has been working with a dog in developing the dog's sense of smell ability to smell cancer.

Animals convey to us that the sense of smell is important and we should be consciously smelling.

Think for a moment about your favorite smells. A few of my favorite smells are baked bread, lilacs, the ocean, fresh brewed coffee; fields with freshly mowed hay, honeysuckle, roses, puppies, pine trees, and holiday wassail punch. Some of you may share with me the memory of the smell of mimeographing machines? Doug Larson wrote, "Life expectancy would grow by leaps and bounds if green vegetables smelled as good as bacon."

"Smell is a potent wizard that transports us across thousands of miles and all the years we have lived." - Helen Keller.

Sometimes we remember people because of fragrances. Many times when people experience the presence of the Blessed Mother they not only have a feeling experience of her presence, but also experience the scent of roses.

Think about fragrances worn by family members. I remember one of my Mom's fragrances was Evening in Paris; my Dad wore Old Spice. You can think of someone in heaven and immediately smell their smell. Sometimes when a loved one dies, we don't want to part with their clothing because we can hold an item they wore and be able to smell the person. Smell fills our lives with powerful experiences.

And what fragrances have you worn in your life? In high school one of the fragrances I liked was Heaven Scent. I also remember wearing Ambush. I remember when I made my first visit to New Orleans, I discovered two wonderful shops and an abundance of new fragrances. Hove Parfumeur is one of the shops, and the other is Bourbon French Parfums - a 165 year old perfumery. It was established in 1845 by August Dussan. New Orleans is such a sensual city. Good smells, good music, and good foods.

There are smells we love because of the work that we do. It's always wonderful when I teach my Anointing class and we pass around the essential oils for everyone to smell. By the end of the class, everyone is in a bliss state from the aromas. I'm sure carpenters like the smell of wood. Steven Spielberg was quoted as saying, "I like the smell of film. I just like knowing there's film going through the camera."

Life is filled with so much to love and be grateful for. I love the fragrance of flowers. The beautiful and abundantly talented actress and singer Lena Horne recently died. She once said, "It's so nice to get flowers while you can still smell the fragrance." She's right. Lets give each other flowers, and also give ourselves flowers while we can smell them.

Stop and smell not only the roses but all the flowers that cross your path. Stop and do an "open nose" meditation where you smell all the good smells of nature.

For those of you who live on the East Coast and are able to get yourself to Longwood Gardens, I highly recommend their first major exhibition. It is: Making Scents, The Art and Passion of Fragrance. It's on view through November 21, 2010. Longwood Gardens is in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania.

The exhibition is divided into four major section: Into a Fragrant World; The Art of Perfume and Fragrant Gardens; The Science of Fragrance; and Your Fragrant Garden.

The exhibit explores the sense of smell and how scent molecules send signals to the brain that trigger moods, emotions and memories. Olfactory neurons in the nose are stimulated by approximately 10,000 different odor molecules. Human beings are instinctually hard-wired to respond to smell, but individual reactions to particular scents can be experiential, based on culture and personal experience, such as the scent of cinnamon evoking joyful memories of family gatherings, or the fragrance of lilies acting as a poignant reminder of a loss.

Early in my spiritual studies, one of my teachers taught me to carry with me a fragrance that stimulated my mind with its positive aroma. I was taught that whenever my spirit or energy was spiraling downward, I was to stop and smell the fragrance. The fragrance activates a part of my brain that then motivates me to move forward with hopefulness and conviction to fulfilling my goals. Yes, it is important to think positive thoughts; however, positive smelling is really healing.

In my booklet ANGELIC FENG SHUI - 101 Ways to Make Your Home Heaven on Earth, I share how your home is your safe haven; sanctuary/sacred space. With the use of the fragrance of flowers, essential oils and incense we can raise the energy of our homes and purify the space.

Beginning with Queen Hatshepsut of Egypt, 3500 years ago people have set out on expeditions to collect fragrant plants in far away lands. Humanity has been seeking fragrant smells for a long time.

In 2000 BCE camels were domesticated and replaced donkeys on long journeys. Donkeys were slower and easily dehydrated. Camels were able to go longer distances. Because of this a new era and road was born: the incense route.

In 1850 BCE some of the world's earliest perfumes were distilled in Cyprus and were created by mixing extracts of anise, pine, coriander, bergamot, almond, and parsley with olive oil. In 2005 archaeologists uncovered what are believed to be the world's oldest perfumes in Pyrgos, Cyprus. The perfumes date back more than 4,000 years. The perfumes were discovered in an ancient perfumery. At least 60 stills, mixing bowls, funnels and perfume bottles were found in the 43,000 square foot factory.

1500 to 1400 BCE, Egyptians were using a perfume called Kyphi, a blend of 16 ingredients including honey, myrrh, juniper berries with wine.

1400 BCE - Exodus. God instructs Moses on how to construct the Altar of Incense. This altar was placed in The Holy Tabernacle. It was made from acacia wood. Moses was given the recipe for a special blend of pure incense that only the High Priest could create and use.

62 to 79 AD Pompeii - Decorative wall paintings show cupids making and selling perfume.

1100 AD - Salerno, Italy becomes the first great scientific center of Europe. The physician Salernus, influenced by the work of earlier Arab alchemists and by their invention of an alembic (an apparatus used for distilling), discovers the process for distilling alcohol for medicinal and pharmaceutical purposes.

1190 AD The Guild of Artisan Perfume and Glovemakers is chartered by King Philippe Auguste and reconfirmed by French Kings in the next six centuries. Napoleon I will be the one who will allow perfumers to work independently of glovemakers.

1370 AD The Queen of Hungary's Water - the first alchoholic perfume, scented with rosemary, is created.

1533 AD - Catherine de Medici of Florence travels to France to marry Henry II, and brings along her perfumer, Rene the Florentine (Renato Bianco) and her knowledge of Italian perfumery. Italian perfumery had assimilated exotic ingredients from the spice trade and was the most advanced in the world. Rene's laboratory was connected with Catherine's apartments by a secret passageway so that no formulas could be stolen en route.

1709 Gian Paolo Feminis, creates the first authentic eau de cologne called Aqua Mirabilis (Miracle Water). He moves to the German town of Cologne. In the 1750's the scent is discovered by French soldiers who bring it back to France and the new fragrance term "eau de cologne".

1715-1744 During King Louis XV's reign, perfumes are so much in demand that etiquette requires the use of a different fragrance each day at the Perfumed Court of Versailles.

1760 - 1798 The great perfume houses of Houbigant, Lubin, Chiris, Fargeon and Dissy are established. Some of these houses continued to produce fragrances into the early 20th century.

Mid 1800's The emergence of organic chemistry. In 1889 Guerlain creates Jicky - the first modern perfume to use synthetics.

1921 Coco Chanel launches Chanel No. 5. This is the beginning of perfume being seen as a modern art form and joined with the world of fashion design.

Fragrance is truly an art form. It has been described as a musical metaphor having three sets of notes, making the harmonious scent accord. The three notes are:

Top Notes also called head notes. The scents that are perceived immediately on application of a perfume. Top notes consist of small, light molecules that evaporate quickly. They form a person's initial impression of a perfume and thus are very important in the selling of a perfume.

Middle Notes. The scent of a perfume that emerges just prior to when the top notes dissipate. The middle note compounds form the heart or main body of a perfume and acts to mask the often unpleasant initial impression of base notes, which become more pleasant with time. They are also called the heart notes.

Base notes. The scent of a perfume that appears close to the departure of the middle notes. The base and middle notes together are the main theme of a perfume. Base notes bring depth and solidity to a perfume. Compounds of this class of scents are typically rich and deep and are usually not perceived until 30 minutes after application.

Dick Clark said that each of us has a soundtrack to our life. That soundtrack is made up of songs that we have loved through our life. We also have a smell track, made up of fragrances and scents that have touched our souls through our noses.

Take time to honor the gift of smell. Take time to appreciate the aromas, fragrances, scents and bouquets of your life.

Happy Smelling,
Love, Jayne

CATCH YOUR SPIRITUAL BREATH

Dear Angelic Blog buddies:

Good morning. It is my prayer and intention to be a blessing to each of you in my message this morning. It is my intention to offer helpful inspiration on how to achieve and maintain inner peace in our lives. I bring to you peace offerings.

Peace. Webster’s definition of peace is: a state of physical or mental quiet or tranquility or repose. The absence of war. Freedom from mental agitation or anxiety. Freedom from violence or riot.

And wouldn’t it be wonderful to be in a state of harmony, quietness, stillness, calmness?

We’ve heard people question: “can’t I get a little peace and quiet?”; we’re familiar with terms such as peacekeepers, peacemakers, peace movement and peace time. From the sacred Native American pipe ceremony has evolved the popular phrase of sharing the peace pipe. In the words of St. Francis: Lord, make me Thy Instrument of peace.

We all want peace but somehow life gets in the way. I think each of us can think of all the things that act as interruptions and distractions in our quest for peace. You get into your car and start on your drive to work. You’re looking forward to a pleasant day. All is peaceful in your world and then you merge into traffic. We have a rotary near our home. There is a yield sign which is greatly ignored. I am certain everyone has had driving experiences where you are going the posted speed and people zoom by you as if you were standing still.

Mahatma Ghandhi said: There is more to life than simply increasing its speed. You wouldn’t know that is true from the speed people are driving these days. And many of us are experiencing “being left in the dust” – being left behind – being passed by. It triggers an emotional response inside of us.

That experience is more powerful than we think in diminishing our achievement of inner peace. Alabama has a song with the lyrics

I'm in a hurry to get things done
(oh,) i rush & rush until life's no fun
All i really gotta do is live & die
But, i'm in a hurry & don't know why

Life has become one big zoom experience. Anna Jane Grossman has compiled An Encyclopedia of Once-Common Things Passing Us By. She entitled the book: Obsolete.

The amount of change each of us has experienced to date in our lives and continues to experience in each passing moment is staggering.

Advancements in technology and science are truly amazing and abundant in many ways; however, we are being impacted dramatically on an inner level.

The younger generation now communicates with texting. A recent survey showed the number one way young people communicate with their parents is texting; they text more than they talk on the phone and even more than they talk in person.

Not too many people write letters anymore. Do you remember stationery stores? It won’t be too long until I will be asking you, do you remember the government department that use to handle mail? It was called the US Post Office.

Just like phone booths, public mail boxes are disappearing. And what about the changes in telephones. Some of you, like me, grew up with party lines. And then private lines came into our homes. Remember when the phone company would threaten you not to touch the equipment they placed in your home. Isn’t that hysterical to think about? Remember when you wanted to have change in your pocket or purse in case you needed to make a phone call?

We have land lines being replaced by cell towers and fiber optic. In thinking about my message I remembered going to the library to do research for school or looking at the family’s World Books or encyclopedias. And the World Book would send out a yearly book – one single book – with the latest new information.

Now it’s all found on the internet. And information is expanding at record rates. A weekday edition of The New York Times contains more information than the average person was likely to come across in a lifetime in 17th century England.

Think about music: 33-1/3 rpm; 45’s; eight track tapes; cassettes; cds; mp3 players. And cameras. Anyone have a brownie? And for the young people, no I am not talking about a dessert from a Pillsbury box mix. Remember Polaroid where you pulled the picture out and counted. How would that fly now in this world of great impatience and got to have it now.

Last summer my husband and a family friend and I went to Philadelphia for the Princess Diana exhibit. With our ticket we were given an audio tour . I was familiar with audio equipment where you saw a number on the wall and you matched it on your cassette and the audio played. We were handed a little gadget that I was unfamiliar with. It was a sort of IPod where you stroke the screen of the IPOD as you moved from room to room to reach the correct audio. I just didn’t get it and I just wasn’t making it happen. I remember standing in the first gallery with this IPOD thinking: this is the moment that life passes me by.

As the group of people we had entered into the first gallerywith, including my husband and friend marched forward in unison with advanced technology, I was standing there totally bewildered and feeling lost. My knowledge of audio tours in museums was obsolete.

Somehow by God’s grace, my husband and friend picked up that I wasn’t keeping the beat and came to my rescue. They gave me a crash course on the spot. I have to be honest, I limped my way through the exhibit.

I am not condemning advancements. However, I want to point out that when something becomes obsolete and there is no longer a use for it. It is thrown away. And even if we throw something away, the energy is still on the planet with us. There is an unbelievable amount of energy of items that are in dumps and landfills. Islands are being filled in our oceans that are made up of discarded trash. Just as we are touched by the beauty of the mountains of nature made by God. We are touched by the energy from man made mountains of trash and discarded items.

Just as if you never let fresh air into your house, you would eventually be impacted by the staleness or mustiness of the air, we are being impacted by the energy, vibration and consciousness of being a toss-away; throwaway, get the latest model, get the fastest speed , and newest technology nation.

When we replace something with the newest version, what happens to what came before. I don’t think we as a race have figured that out. And so we have piles of energy on the planet that radiates the message “out of sight/out of mind” – and it just doesn’t work that way.

In my booklet Angelic Feng Shui I share, out of sight doesn’t mean it’s out of your energy field.

On a deep level, our soul is asking us to stop and reflect if we truly need to always upgrade to the latest, newest, cutting edge, fastest model. One of the keys to peaceful living is to live simply. Living with a knowingness that what we have is enough. As the song says, we’ve got the sun in the morning and the moon at night and I’m all right.

I am encouraging all of us to ask ourselves: when is enough, enough?

When we bring more stuff into our homes, we are bringing what we think we are collecting and gathering because of a need that is being fulfilled; however in time the stuff will collect our energy and gather from us our inner peace.

As a spiritual counselor the one statement I have heard repeated from people is: I am overwhelmed.

According to a survey, 43 percent of adults suffer adverse health effects as a result of stress and feeling overwhelmed. 75 percent to 90 percent of adult visits to primary care physicians are precipitated by stress-related problems.

We are stress-out, overwhelmed, overcommitted, overstuffed. It’s time to stop and take a look at what we are filling our lives with.

Storage facilities have popped up in our communities to handle the continuous increasing of stuff. Not only our homes but the days of our lives are stuffed to overflowing.

There’s a whole new career paths that has been created: professional organizers, personal shoppers, meal preparation companies. These activities aren’t negative; however it is the result that we are desperately trying to find a way to get everything done that we have conditioned ourselves that we absolutely must do. So we are hiring people to help us do that.

Have you noticed how many magazines are featuring front page headlines that they have articles on getting organized, find balance, remove the clutter, managing your time? Oh yes, we are an overwhelmed nation.

Years ago I remember hearing a talk given byJohn Robbins, an heir to the Baskin Robbins fortune. John walked away from the family riches and he made this statement to his family: He was choosing to live simply so others on the planet could simply live. John is the author of the book Diet for the New America. I remember John telling the story that his family was angry about his decision to go out on his own and live this life of simplicity. The rift created a situation where father and son didn’t speak. Years later John’s father would suffer a heart attack. His father survived the heart attack. The father was told by his physican that he had to change his eating habits and recommended the book Diet for the New America.

So I suggesting that we consider the wisdom in the words “less is more”. Willa Cather wrote: Men travel faster now, but I do not know if they go to better things. Let’s live better with less.

Let’s transform our lives by contemplating the Buddhist wisdom: You can never get enough of what you don’t really need.

For everything we buy, let’s first ask ourselves, do we really need it?

Mary Carolomagno writes in her book Secrets of Simplicity:
Get comfortable with the idea of using, not amassing.
Use the pieces you have instead of buying multiples or replacing with a different model.
Love what you have.

Finally, I know that we are living in a time where every day new names are being created to identify health challenges. If you don’t feel ill, just watch television and one of the commercials is certain to hit something that is out of balance in you. Just as the younger generation has created a code language of abbreviation in texting to allow for faster communication, you will notice that the pharmaceutical industry comes up with short abbreviations to describe everything and anything that could possibly be wrong with us.

Well, I am going to take the liberty of giving a name to an in balance that I have noticed going on in the world. I am not going to abbreviate it; I am just going to share with you the name. I call it Sabbath Deficiency Syndrome. I am a firm believer that God was giving us a big clue when in the book of Genesis we read how on the 7th day God rested.

In his book, Sabbath: Restoring the Sacred Rhythm of Rest, Wayne Muller writes these beautiful words, “The Sabbath rocks us and holds us until we remember who we are.”

I think we have forgotten who we are and we fill our lives with so much stuff that there’s no time or space to spend with God; there’s no time and get to knows ourselves as God knows us. The fourth of the Ten Commandments is Remember the Sabbath and keep it holy.

It’s important to have time and space for sabbatical experience – a commemoration of the seventh day of rest God took after creating the world.

Many people work demanding jobs; full time jobs and adding on evenings and weekends. We may be a nation that is rich in stuff however we are truly impoverished in spirituality. We are burned out in so many ways.

Just like the closets and basements and attics of our homes, we are overloaded and we are feeling stressed and added to that is the impact of being obsolete. The obsolete energy adds the pressure that no matter how fast we go, we won’t be able to keep up and feeling that pressure we attempt to go faster, do more – just have some semblance of keeping up.

I feel we have an epidemic of quite frankly being out of our divine minds. Albert Einstein said, I want to know God’s thoughts; everything else is detail. It’s time to take sabbath time to commune with God and get to know what God was thinking when God thought of us.

I am encouraging all of us to incorporate the concept of Sabbath time, sacred rest time into our lives. Days away; time out; Time out from pressures and demands. Let yourself catch your spiritual breath and be alone with God.

Give yourself the gift of doing nothing time.
Visit with friends.
Eat regular, healthy meals.
Get enough sleep
Take naps.
Get out and enjoy nature.
Have a special place where you connect with your Higher Self.

Thoreau spent time in the woods at Walden Pond. Thoreau wrote: If a man does not keep pace with his companions, perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer.

Maybe it’s time we stop living life at the zoom, zoom pace and live God paced lives.
Make time to be alone. Take time to pull back and reflect. Relaxing time. Rest time.
Play time.

For me Sabbath time is – God gazing time; when I spend time looking into the eyes of the Beloved; my focus is God.

A book that has been extremely healing and helpful is Seven Sacred Pauses from which I share the seven daily pauses and prayer times which enable us to catch our spiriritual breath:

• The Night Watch pause is a pre-dawn pause that calls us to vigilance, deep listening, mystery and silence, surrender and trust.

• The Awakening Hour pause at dawn celebrates the new day with praise and resurrection, joy and delight.

• The Blessing Hour pause is a middle of the morning pause that challenges us to heed the coming of the Spirit and to bring breathe and blessing to our work.

• The Hour of Illumination pause, at midday, is a time to nourish our bodies, recommit to our service of others, and to pray for peace.

• The Wisdom Hour pause, at mid afternoon, invites us to reflect on the impermanence and the graciousness of life.

• The Twilight Hour pause, as evening begins, calls us to slow down as we make the transition from work to home and express praise and gratitude.

• The Great Silence pause , the last hour before sleep, is when we review the day, ask for forgiveness and strength, and surrender ourselves to God.

I would like to close this blog with a blessing for you. May 2010 be a year of catching our spiritual breath and pausing to be one with God and one with God’s peace.

Love, Jayne

ORCHID ABUNDANZA

Dear Angelic Blog Buddies:

Perhaps you share a memory with me of seeing your very first orchid as a corsage. I remember my Mom wearing a beautiful lavendar orchid corsage on Mother's Day. Because that was the first orchid I had ever seen, and would be the only type of orchid I saw in my childhood years, that is what an orchid was to me.

That particular type of orchid is of the genus Cattleya (KAt-lee-ah) and it is often called the Corsage Orchid. Cattleyas are among the most commonly grown orchids.

There are some 30,000 species of orchids growing wild across this planet.
The word orchis, from which the whole family received its name, was first used for this purpose by the Greek philosopher Theophrastus, a pupil of Aristotle. Theophrastus is sometimes referred to as the father of botany. In his manuscript Enquiry into Plants, orchid (which means tetis) referred to the underground tuberous roots of the Mediterranean orchid, which are similar in shape to testicles.

I learned of the mystical message of orchids in reading what Ted Andrews wrote about the orchid in his book The Magical Name: "Orchid is a name and flower with ties to the satyrs of mythology, some of whom were teachers of the healing arts. In mythology, Orchid was born of a nymph who had been seduced by a satyr. Alignment with this essence affects sexuality...this is a flower for those wishing to manifest energies that will force a development of positive expression of sexual energies."

Ted expanded his orchid insights in his book Nature Speaks: "In China, an "orchid room" is the dwelling place of a young girl or the bedroom of a young married couple - its significance having mostly to do with its scents. Orchids are the largest family in the plant kingdom...Wherever orchids grow, you will always find nature spirits, elves, faeries and even some of the fantastic creatures and beings associated with the faerie realm...this flower and its environment is often watched over by nymphs and/or satyrs."

In 1993 I came across a set of cards called Angelic Messenger Cards by Meredith L. Young-Sowers. The photography was by Carol Duke. The cards are still available as a newly revised edition. The messages are wonderful and the spectacular photographs are of individual flowers. The Abundance card features a photograph of an orchid of the Paphlopedium or Lady Slipper genus. They are called this because their lip is shaped like a pouch or toe of a slipper.

I agree that orchids are messengers of abundance; and for this reason I called this blog: ORCHID ABUNDANZA. I have always been inspired by the angels to share the message that each of us has a divine masculine energy inside of us; and a divine feminine energy inside of us. The holy union of these two energies is a divine experience that results in the birthing of blessings and miracles. We are walking, talking, breathing holy of holies and within the sacred space of our I AM presence there is divine conception occurring. We can ask ourselves each morning: What do I want to conceive today? The word conceive means to become pregant with. It originates from a Latin word which means to thoroughly grasp. What vision or idea do you want to thoroughly grasp today?

Green Hope Farm Flower Essences offer various Orchid essences. Two that I would like to recommend you consider are: Fragrant Orchid. Molly Sheehan came upon an abundant colony of this orchid on Omey and received this message; "My wisdom needs to go out into the world. I try to share my wisdom generously in the gift of my perfume however, I AM glad to have a greater opportunity to be of service. I know this will strike you as a leap, but my essence is HOPE and that is the vibration I bring as a Flower essence. I am deeply attuned to the Fourth Ray and Angel Gabriel. I do not need to be applied or ingested to be of service in your life. Holding a bottle of my Essence will be enough. I will bring my beacon of white light via this bottle of my Flower Essence, just as I stand as a wand of this light on the rocky slopes where you found me." The Fragrant Orchid wants us to thoroughly grasp that we are ourselves divine essence of Hope. We are earth angels of HOPE.

Molly shares in her guide book that "there were so many orchids on Omey, in the Burren and on the coast of Ireland in general that it required care not to step on any of them."

I also recommend White Orchid from the Burren of Ireland. This orchid has given us this message, "Just as with the Fragrant Orchid Flower Essence, I work on the Fourth ray, the White or Crystal ray While the Fragrant Orchid Flower Essence sings a vibration of Hope, my vibrational strength is clarity of intention. In any endeavor, I help you to see and implement the tasks at hand with a motivation worthy of the task and a better sense of divine purpose. I AM a big picture Essence and will help you get clear on the most important spriritual tasks in your life, as well as help you follow through on these tasks with the least personality baggage." The White Orchid inspires us to thoroughly grasp we are part of the big picture.

You can order these essences as www.greenhopeessences.com

For 21 years I worked as an administrative assistant to a man who was a marketing/promotion director for a number of shopping malls. My work included helping him develop events/entertainment activities at the malls. I was responsible for Santa arrivals, Christmas parades, Easter Bunnies hopping down the bunny trail of the mall and Easter egg hunts just to name a few of the many events that were staged at the malls. For one of our mall clients I helped to negotiate an orchid society staging an annual orchid show at the mall. It was a sight of sheer beauty to walk into the mall and see table after table of exquisite orchids. The orchids were breathtaking to behold. I loved the passion for beauty of the individuals who grew the orchids in their homes and their openness and willingness to help beginner orchid growers.

I have wanted to attend Longwood Gardens International Orchid Show and finally made it happen this past Friday. I staged my arrival at the very beginning of the 3-day international orchid show, and was delighted to see as I was entering the conservatory, the judges had completed their tasks, and were heading off to a celebration lunch. It brought back sweet memories of my days of being the organizer of the mall orchid shows.

Longwood Gardens titled their show: Orchid Extravaganza. The actual Extravaganza was staged from January 23 to March 31 with the International Orchid show and Sale being held March 26, 27, and 28. I am sharing the dates in case you want to put this idea of attending in the back of your mind for next year.

If you are a reader who lives near Longwood Gardens (1001 Longwood Road/Kennett Square, PA 19348 - www.longwoodgardens.org), I highly recommend the experience. As Longwood describes it: Immerse yourself in a dazzling world of orchids as Longwood transforms its Conservatory into a lush oasis showcasing the divas of the planet world. Colorful orchids drape from walls, flow from pedestals and adorn beds throughout Longwood's rewnowed Conservatory."

That description beautifully describes what I witnessed on Friday. Plus I got to know more intimately a new genus of orchid; well, it was new for me. The genus is Oncidium (on-SID-ee-um). The American Orchid Society describes Oncidium as:an extraordinarily large and diverse New world genus with an equally diverse number of habitats. Oncidiums may originate anywhere from sea level in the tropics to the high elevations of the Andes.

For me they are little dancing fairies. Wherever they were in the show, I felt a tug of energy to visit them and photograph them. These orchids convey the innocence and delight of little joy baby faces. I found myself beaming and laughing over their adorable presence. Their flowers are truly little fairy beings and the photographs I took of these precious flowers are magical. And the amazing thing was that they wanted me to take more pictures. I would click my digital camera and then hear them say, "more". I heard and felt a constant message of them saying "more" and "more of me"..."take more pictures of me".

The flowers have a shape that is the appearance of fairies with arms outstretched in joy. They convey a wide-openness to life. I am sharing a link of orchid photographs for you to see the Oncidium fairies:

www.floridanaturepictures.com/orchids/orchid.html

It was only after I left the show that I came to realize why they were calling to me. God had guided me to them to receive an orchid healing. I am asking everyone who reads my blog to keep my husband, Chuck, in your prayers. In 2002 Chuck received a heart stent. Just recently he started experiencing shortness of breath. He cannot walk long distances because of the shortness of breath and also hip joint problems. Because of this problem, he didn't want to walk the grounds of Longwood; and he wasn't open to using a scooter. I am happy to report, that a healing that did occur since last Friday is that I have finally gotten him to agree that in the future he will use a scooter for places he wants to visit. I feel joyous over that healing.

Chuck is under the care of a wonderful Johns Hopkins heart doctor. There have been a lot of tests and bloodwork going on over this past month.

Chuck will be having a chemical stress test at Hopkins on April 8th and it will determine how the stent and arteries are working. Chuck cannot have a physical stress test because he has some hip pain at this time, too. Even though Chuck and I both know God is guiding us, and we have a great team of doctors, there is of course concern over his current state of health and what is ahead.

The angels wanted me to buy an Oncidium at Longwood on Friday. When I went to buy one, the seller told me that this wouldn't be a good first orchid to buy. Because the seller is a master Orchid grower, I followed her advice.

I am admitting to you here that I really blew it. Yes, the individual is a master orchid grower; however, the ultimate Master Grower of All was guiding me. The plant might have been out of my league, but not God's. I didn't listen. I didn't buy the Oncidium.

What I now realize and sheepishly share with you, is that I wouldn't be the one truly growing it. I would of course be the human steward and guardian; but the true gardeners would be God's angels guding me how to care for this plant. They wanted this joy vibration in our home to help uplift the concern energy that is here over Chuck's health. Remember, how I shared with you that I couldn't stop smiling and beaming and photographing the fairy baby faces? You've heard the statement: It's just what the doctor ordered. Well, the Oncidium was just what God was attempting to prescribe for me for helping us through this health challenge.

Needless to say, I will now be looking for an Oncidium to welcome into our hearts and home. In closing this blog I simply share something I know you already know: God is so good. God guides us to what we need. And heaven's greatest blessing is that God doesn't give up on us even when we see the message; hear the message and just plain choose not to get the message.

Angelic Blessings of God's Never-Ending Love,
Jayne

ANOINTING

Dear Angelic Blog Buddies:

A few years ago on a Saturday afternoon, I was doing classes and private readings in a bookstore called Spark of Spirit in College Park, Maryland. While I was inbetween appointments and browsing the bookstore's shelves, a woman who was also browsing remarked, "Oh,good. My book is here." Being curious I asked the woman the name of the book she had written. She shared with me that it wasn't a book she had written; rather it was a book she loved so much that she considered it her book. She pulled from the shelf Dr. David Stewart's Healing Oils of the Bible.

I know all of you have had divine appointments with books. You have had a book cross you path that is life changing. That is how I feel about Dr. Stewart's Healing Oils of the Bible. As the woman held Dr. Stewart's book out to show me, I felt I was receiving a blessing from the energy of the book. Needless to say, I bought the book and the information from the book continues to be a blessing in my life. I love telling everyone about the brilliance of Dr. Stewart's research, teaching, writing, etc. I love sharing my enthusiasm for anointing.

The book brought the Bible to life in a new way for me through sharing knowledge about the ancient practice of anointing. I literally saw the Bible with new eyes. For example, Moses, following God's instructions, asked the elders of Israel to sacrifice a lamb and use a branch of hyssop to apply the blood of the lamb to the door posts of their homes. This was the first Passover. God's instructions to Moses were to have the elders strike the lintel and door posts with the hyssop. This would have bruised the hyssop leaves and as a result released the scent of its oil. The powerful fragrance of hyssop was part of the ritual that caused the Angel of Death to pass over the Israelites' homes that evening. When you smell the fragrance of Hyssop, you connect with the very first Passover. Hyssop is recognized for repeling negativity.

I learned of the important role that essential oils played in the lives of Biblical people and the healing power of these oils. The book introduced me to The Twelve Oils of Ancient Scripture. It inspired me to continue reading and researching anointing, and as a result I was inspired by spirit to teach a class on the Sacred Art of Anointing, which is one of my favorite classes to teach. I just taught the class a few weeks ago at the wonderful Winfield Holistic Center and it absolutely delighted me to see the class participants get as excited about anointing oils as I am.

Right after I purchased and read Dr. Stewart's book, I wanted to learn more about about the healing oils of the Bible and so I went to Dr. Stewart's website and looked for classes being offered. His organization - CARE Ministries - offers a multi-day program where participants receive hands-on training in healing oils of the Bible, Raindrop Anointing Technique, Essential Oil Chemistry and other topics. I remember scanning the schedule of the training and the locations for the immediate classes were all in Europe. Then my eye caught a location in the USA: Easton, Maryland, which is an hour and a half drive from our house. I signed up for the weekend experience and was truly blessed by the indepth teaching shared that weekend. What a fantastic weekend of non-stop inspiration about essential oils. Because of being inspired by books, classes, my own research, I am now a huge believer in the power of anointing and wanted to share that enthusiasm with you in this blog.

The art of anointing was practiced by ancient Mesopotamians, Egyptians, Syrians
Persians, and Hebrews.

Anointing is the sacred act of touching with oil. An individual can be anointed by someone or anoint themselves. Groups can be anointed; sacred objects; homes, etc.

Anointing signifies a sacred connection to God is being made. It is the coming together of the physical (the body being touched with the oil) and the spiritual (the sacredness and holy vibration of the oil being used).

It is the healing power of the divine touching our lives through the anointing blessing. It is a sign of opening our lives to being blessed by God's goodness.

Anointing oil was important in Jesus’ ministry. Spikenard is the oil that was used by Mary of Bethany in anointing Jesus. Jesus defended her when the disciples grumbled about the cost of the anointing. At that time, a household might only have one or two oils at most and they were greatly prized for their fragrance and healing properties. The oil was used by the members of the household in helping heal sickness.

So here is Mary breaking open the alabaster wax jar of costly spikenard and pouring the entire contents over Jesus. At today’s prices it would be well over $30,000

Think of the Gift of the Magi. You spend all you have to show love and appreciation for someone special to you. Jesus even remarked that Mary would be known for what she did for him; i.e. the act of anointing him with oil.

God gave Moses a formula for holy anointing oil shortly after the Israelites began the Exodus trek through the desert. It contained myrrh, cinnamon, calamus and cassia in an olive oil base. This was a specific blend by which the individual would anoint your dwelling, furniture and all who dwell in the home.

Through anointing you are in an essence allowing God to put his seal upon you, i.e. a seal of protection as well as a blessing. Modern science shows these oils contain either an immune stimulating or anti viral compound,so the oil was a protection against disease that the Israelites would experience in the wilderness.

Since the Hebrews were slaves to the Egyptians, they would have been involved in embalming processes and oils for healing and perfumes. In fact our greatest knowledge about oils comes from the Egyptians. Some of their papyrus manuscripts date back as far as 2800 b.c. and share information on how they used herbs and aromatics.

The temples were laboratories where high priests and priestesses would experiment with concoctions to achieve healing goals. They were the first dispensers of aromatics, the first perfumers and first aromatherapists. Once they discovered the preserving effects of essential oils, they perfected the art of embalming.

The body was actually soaked in essential oils and after months was wrapped with gauze impregnated with resin, cedarwood oil and myrrh. So strong is the antiseptic power of these essential oils that Egyptian mummies were well preserved for thousands of years. Oils, still viable, have been found in sealed jars in tombs of ancient Egyptian leaders. For royalty, the embalming process took six months, for a commoner, it could be accomplished in a few hours.

The precious oils of frankincense, myrrh, galbanum, rosemary, hyssop, cassia, cinnamon and spikenard were used extensively for healing and anointing the sick.

In 1817 an ancient Egyptian scroll was found dating back to 1500 b.c. It was a medicinal scroll and mentioned over 800 herbal prescriptions and remedies for disease that they successfully treated and many of the mixtures contained myrrh and honey.

The Greeks learned a great deal from the Egyptians. Herodotus and Democrates visited Egypt during the 4th century b.c. and declared that the Egyptians were masters of the art of perfumery.

Hippocrates – the father of medicine was born in 460 b.c. and he said that the way to health is to have an aromatic bath and a scented massage every day. Not a bad idea.

He recognized that burning aromatic substances offered protection against contagious diseases.

In Aesculapius and Aphrodite temples, healing oils were dispensed by priestesses for all kinds of ailments.

The first real treatise on what we would in our present day identify as aromatherapy was written by Theophrastus who lived 372 to 285 b.c. His work is entitled: Concerning Odors (catchy title) and discusses the effects of fragrances on the mind

Rosewater was one of the perfumes the Crusaders brought back from the East.

The Arabian philosopher and physician Avicenna who lived in 10th century wrote hundreds of books. He wrote the Canon of Medicine and this was used in medical schools for 500 years. In it, he mentions essential oils. His first book was on the beneficial effects of the rose,

Rose to this day is one of the most popular scents and it has the highest MHz frequency.

Hildegard of Bingen, a Benedictine abbess, wrote extensively about herbal remedies, and oils. In fact her work is now being researched in depth because she combined the healing powers of herbs, crystals and gemstones, and essential oils. She is recognized as an authority on essential oils and herbs.

In Ecclesiastes we read:
The Lord hath created medicines out of the earth and the sensible will not despise them.

The ancient Hebrews used oils as body perfumes to fragrance their clothes and bed linens, to deter pests, and women used bundles of myrrh and other aromatics around their necks as a long-lasting and effective deodorant.

The Song of Solomon is an exotic book of poetry that speaks of the beauty of personal fragrances. To be anointed with sacred oil was a sign of great favor.
Whenever you apply perfume, you are in an essence anointing yourself. Maybe we use it to be attractive to others, but the Bible teaches that fragrances were used by people to make themselves pleasing to God and this is a spiritual practice we can incorporate into our lives to raise our spiritual vibration through the frequency of essential oils.

The psalms speak of oils of gladness and joy.

In the Talmud 70 herbs and plants are identified as having healing properties and cures.

The Book of Jubilees written in first century b.c. tells of angels revealing remedies to Noah; these remedies came from the trees, plants and roots.

Anointing is a sacred act and a healing act. The nose is wired differently than the other four senses. Our nose carries molecules directly into the emotional center of the brain where traumatic memories are stored and essential oils release repressed emotions.

Most of the Biblical aromatic oils contain phenylpropanoids, sesquiterpenes and/or monoterpenes. These three constituents are unique to essential oils and have the intelligence and capability of cleasing the receptor sites of our cells (phenols), erasing incorrect information in the DNA cellular memory (sesquiterpenes) and reprogramming God's original plan (correct information) into the cellular level and facilitating a permanent and sometimes, instaneous healing.

There is another dimension of the healing powers of essential oils. All essential oils carry electrical charges which are healing and healthful. The frequencies of essential oils are between 52 to 320 MHz. The highest of all known substances is rose oil at 320 MHz. So when you hear the message: Stop and smell the roses, it not only means to stop to take time to appreciate nature; it also means that by smelling the rose's high vibrational energy, the electrical charge will go through your nose to your brain and you'll receive a powerful healing of love. Isn't God wonderful?!

Measurements on the human body found that a healthy person has a frequency of around 62 to 68 MHz. When a person's frequency dips to 58 MHz, cold symptoms can manifest. Flu symptoms start at 57 MHz. Cancer can begin when the body falls below 42 MHz. The process of dying begins at 25 MHz and goes zero at death.

One of the most important healing modalities of the essential oils is their ability to lift our bodily frequencies to levels where healing can occur and disease cannot exist.

The frequencies of the oils are affected by thoughts, too. Prayer raises the frequency levels by 15 MHz. You can see how powerful essential oils are joined with prayer.

I'm writing this blog because I want to inspire everyone with the message that it is time to return to our senses. It's time to reclaim the sacred tradition of the beautiful art and act of anointing.

If you have an anointing oil, take time in your life to place a drop in your palm and gently rub your hands together. Then inhale the beautiful fragrance. You can gently touch your third eye; or touch your heart. I love to use Young Living's JOY oil. The Bible speaks of oils of joy and gladness. With all that's going on in the world, we can all use a little touch of joy. Use anointing oils to lighten your heart and uplift your soul. And once you have anointed yourself, embrace your divine identity as a walking, talking, breathing blessing of God.

HOLY ICE

Dear Angelic Blog Buddies:

Some of you may know that my husband, Chuck and I live in Upperco, Maryland with our two Jack Russell Terriers, Riot and Pinky. We live in Baltimore County, about a half hour north of Baltimore City. Our area of Maryland can boast that we received more snow this winter than any other area in the entire USA, including Anchorage, Alaska. We had more than 80 inches of snow and we are still dealing with the snow. We have what looks like mountains of snow around our home.

Living in the midst of this immense accumulation of snow and ice, observing glistening icicles hanging from homes and buildings, it inspired me to write a blog about my love of crystals. During the days that we were snowbound at home, I was inspired by the angels to make abundant use of the time in organizing my crystals and realign myself with their energies.

The word crystal is a derivative of crystallos which is Greek for ice. The ancients believed that crystals were frozen light from heaven or holy ice.

I love crystals for their beauty, powerful healing and blessing energies and divine sacredness. I truly believe they are gifts given to us from Divine Mother Earth to support our spiritual growth and feeling of oneness. Some minerals are gifts from beyond the earth, and I love them abundantly, too. I encourage people to have a meteorite stone, and it can be a very small one. Meteorites help us to remember to sometimes think beyond this world and be conscious that there are dimensions inside us that are truly connected with other universes. Chuck and I enjoy watching the new Meteorite Men program on TV

Crystals are powerful healers. In 3rd century BC, Theophrastus wrote about the medicinal values of gems. And Medieval Europe's consciousness awakening to the healing powers of crystals was grreatly influenced by Pliny's writings in the first century about the power of crystals.

Medicine pouches worn by Native Americans contain fetish animals carved from minerals. If you are familiar with Melody's book Love is in the Earth, you know that she makes reference to crystals worn on The Priest's Breastplate which is referenced in the Bible in the Book of Exodus. I have done a lot of research around the twelve crystals mentioned in the Book of Revelation and The New Jerusalem and have found that this information has helped me on my spiritual path.

Since my childhood I have had a deep love for rocks, stones, gems, minerals, and crystals. In thinking about this blog, I was sharing this morning with Chuck at breakfast, that a few years back I led a week long class at a metaphysical conference held on a college campus. My class was held in one of the geology department's classrooms. The room was filled with rocks. I was in sheer bliss being able to teach in this environment.

Some of you have participated on trips I have organized with the angels' inspirations to various countries, i.e. my Angel Tours. On every trip tour members always were on the lookout for rocks that could be brought home. I remember one of the tour guides asking one of our group members if she had rocks in her bag, because it was very heavy for him to pickup. She commented that in fact she did have an abundance of rocks inside the bag.

If you are like me, you have experienced that you really don't find crystals; they find you. I remember being in a crystal store in Pittsburgh, PA with my dear friend, Judy and both of our husbands were with us, too. I love visiting Judy because she is a crystal wizard woman. She's a walking, talking, breathing encyclopedia of information about crystals. As we entered the store, I immediately saw a spectacularly beautiful large apophyllite which comes from Pune, India. Apophyllite is great for making conscious connection with the spirit realm. I felt myself drawn into the crystal. It was breath takingly beautiful.

I was immediately enchanted by the crystal's energy and having a love experience with the apophyllite but the price tag caused me to keep on walking. As I continued walking beyond the apophyllite, I heard the crystal say to me with its energy: "Come back here; I am what you came for. I am the one who called you to this store. The angels want me to assist you in your service. You are not to leave here without buying me."

When I get that clear of a message from the spirit world whether it's from the angels or from crystals, I know it's a waste of energy and time to pretend I didn't hear it. It's now in my court to make it happen. So I immediately took my husband, Chuck over to the apophyllite, showed him the price tag, and said: I am supposed to buy this crystal. It's going to assist my angelic service." Thank God Chuck is so open to my angelic service and messages I receive from spirit. He agreed and the apophyllite is now making cosmic connections easier for all who sit inside the Michael Pyramid in our home. And I also want to thank God that I don't get messages that often from expensive crystals.

A similar incident happened when Chuck and I were at the New Visions Bookstore Expo in York, Pa. I had been sharing with Chuck that I was being inspired by the angels to have a piece of amethyst in the room which is used as a classroom in our home. We had looked at what seemed like a zillion pieces of amethyst, most of which were in the cathedral or dome shape. We felt like Goldilocks. The amethysts were beautiful; just not right for the service the angels wanted.

Well, as I mentioned we were in York at the expo where we had a booth where I did readings and sold my books, etc. The expo was two days - a Saturday and Sunday. Right next to us was the fantastic booth of Rocks of Ages. On Sunday morning, Mary White, the owner of Rocks of Ages, brings out from underneath her table this absolutely amazing amethyst well which she had not brought out before. It was as if out of the blue this incredible amethyst well appears. Chuck and I looked at each other and said, "That's it." Mary shared that when she was at her home she was told to take the well with her. She hadn't planned on bringing it; however, she was told that the well needed to go to the York expo with her. On Sunday morning she had received a message to bring the amethyst well out into the open, and just as she did, Chuck and I were both guided by spirit to turn our attention to her booth.

The well is now in the center of the classroom where visitors to our home are invited to place their heart's wishes in the well. It's a prayer well; manifestation well; divine wishing well. The amethyst is an extremely spiritual stone and is wonderful as an ally stone. It teams up with your intentions and goals and becomes a blessed ally to you in making manifestation happen. It helps energize fulfillment of your heart's desires. At the end of the year, I remove all of the prayer notes, heart wishes and release them to spirit through a fire ceremony.

I love teaching my Angels and Crystals class because it gives me the opportunity to share my angelic experiences with crystals and what the inspirations the angels have given me about specific crystals.

Recently the angels have been abuzz about the importance of having our crystals near us. As I shared, I was inspired make use of the snowstorm time to really organize my crystals. I felt like a kid playing with action figures. My relationship with crystals is one of the most joyous of relationships in my life.

As part of my Thursday night weekly spiritual development class, class members draw angel cards for messages from spirit. The Thursday night before the two major snowstorms impacted Maryland, we all drew cards as usual. Prior to drawing the cards, I had been speaking to the group about the same message as I am giving here. Make time for your crystals. Commune with your crystals. Reconnect with your crystals. Spirit gave a heavenly "ditto" to my comments when I personally drew the card that said: Work with Crystals. Don't you just love when that happens?

If there is a stone you would like to use in supporting your alignment to the angelic kingdom, I recommend celestite. Melody shares in her book that celestite can provide access to and transfer of, information from the purity of the angelic realm. I have found in my own personal experience this is true and I have a number of pieces of celestite in our home to support my daily openness to the angelic kingdom. I have celestite in the heavenly blue color and also golden celestite. Sweet blue angelite is also another wonderful crystal to use for angelic communion.

I encourage everyone to reacquaint yourself with your crystals. Give yourself a crystal play day. Gather your crystals together and visit with them. The mineral kingdom members are truly our allies. Open yourself to the beauty, joy and delightfulness of having a conscious relationships with our friends of rock and stone.

Love in abundance, Jayne
